Irish Gaelic Fact
Did you know that in May of 2007, the Great Britain based University of Cambridge began to offer accredited courses in Modern Irish, as well as Medieval Irish? Following in Cambridge's wake, Harvard University also began to recently offer courses in Modern spoken Irish, which have been very popular amongst a large array of students. What is even cooler about Harvard's modern Irish programs, is that they also offer a select group of courses through their extension school, which can be taken by anyone within the general public. Irish Gaelic revival enthusiasts are very happy to see the tide begin to shift not just in Ireland itself, but abroad as well. With such a large number of Irish diaspora living around the globe, Irish courses have become a great way to connect with one's Irish roots. We hope that you learned something interesting with this Irish Gaelic fact. Please continue browsing through our site for more information.
