Irish Gaelic Fact
Did you know that there is a growing interest in Irish Gaelic outside of Ireland itself? Irish language clubs and groups can be found in the United States, Canada, Britain, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, France, Norway, and even in the Netherlands. While much of this interest is driven primarily by the Irish diaspora around the globe, there are many non Irish related people who have found an interest in the language. One such example of the growing interest in Irish Gaelic worldwide, is that almost every major city in Europe and the United States currently offers language courses for Gaelic, and many of these courses are taught by native Ireland born speakers. Most of these language courses have no backing by the Irish government and are not affiliated with any Gaelic revival efforts, they're simple filling the demand that Irish Gaelic commands around the globe. We hope that you enjoyed these fun Irish facts.
